Michael Davidman
2025 classical winner Michael Davidman is the 50th American Piano Awards winner and recipient of the Christel DeHaan Classical Fellowship. Michael completed his MM at Juilliard and his DM at Park University’s International Center for Music in 2023. He is currently studying with Stanislav Ioudenitch at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid. Michael finished in third place and was awarded the Orchestra prize at the 2022 Long-Thibaud International Piano Competition, and was the winner of the 2019 Juilliard Gina Bachauer Competition. Isaiah J. Thompson
Isaiah J. Thompson is the winner of the 2023 American Piano Awards and recipient of the Cole Porter Fellowship in Jazz. Originally from West Orange, New Jersey, the pianist, bandleader and composer began studying at The Calderone School of Music from an early age. Soon after, Isaiah continued his studies with Jazz House Kids and NJPAC Jazz For Teens and was later admitted to The Juilliard School graduating with both his Bachelor’s in 2019 and Master’s of Music degrees in 2020.
